I've been searching for at least a year for a high traffic resistant hallway rug for my super dark, drab hallway leading to my garage. I didn't want something that looked like I obviously chose utility over style, which was difficult when searching for the durabilty factor. I'm soo glad I got this one!! The quality is impressive and it looks really stylish. I'm in the middle of redoing the hallway to liven it up a bit and with the black tiles it has been hard to find a rug that blends but isn't all black. I just bought a second to put in my kitchen to match because it blows the one I currently have out of the water!! It's much sturdier then I thought it would be and doesn't look super cheap...as many durable mats look. Also, the custom size option was extremely valuable to me because I needed a 13ft runner which apparently isn't that easy to find!I use it in my entryway. I am waiting a response because I ordered two and was billed for two but only one was delivered. It looks nice but will look better when I get the second one.Perfect for my space. All 4 corners stayed down (yeah)! Color was as expected, as was the thickness (or in this case thinness).Nice looking rugsUsed as a runner in kitchen, easy to vacuum, wears wellI have purchased many other rugs for our mudroom/foyer area for the main entrance of our home hoping they would withstand the daily heavy traffic of kids and a dog that likes to scratch the rug before she finally lays down to sleep every night! Our dog has previously ruined the carpet pile on all the other rugs because of her nightly scratching ritual, but this rug is different. The pile is more tightly woven and thinner than the others and that makes it PERFECT for us because it has not frayed from her scratching it. The no-slip backing is definitely a plus, but because these rugs are so light they still do move a little, especially the smaller rugs. I bought this red Moroccan style rug in three different sizes for our mudroom and the darker red color helps to camouflage a lot of dirt and because the pile of the carpet is low, it is easy to vacuum with one of those inexpensive tile floor cleaners/sweepers. Overall, we would highly recommend this rug and I hope this review helps someone, thank you.I love this rug. It is exactly what I needed for my entryway.Our dog tore her CCL (canine ACL) and we are facing about 14 weeks of recovery pre- and post- surgery. Wood floors are difficult and risk her injuring the second leg, which we really want to avoid. This 42 ft runner provided the perfect solution. I was very glad to find one with nonslip backing and in a neutral, solid color that blends with the wood floors as well as any 42 foot rug possibly could. Anything to help our girl!
